Forest Gates Cottages Bed and Breakfast Accommodation are pleased to offer guests riding the Kidman Trail overnight stabling for their horses in our recently completed horse stables. The Kidman Trail passes through Kuipto Forest just a few hundred metres east of Forest Gate Cottages.

The Kidman Trail also provides opportunities for bushwalkers and mountain bike riders. Information including suggestions for equipment, overnight camping and trail ride planning can be found on the Horse SA website. An overview of the section can be downloaded here.

Advance bookings for are essential and those guests wishing to ride the Kidman Trail or just trail ride in the area will need to book the stables well in advance at the time they book their bed and breakfast cottage. The stables are also available for casual overnight bookings, but guests staying at the cottages have priority and at a reduced rate.

Very Important Disclaimer. We offer dry, comfortable stabling with fresh water and feed for your horse in our conveniently located corner paddock during your stay at Forest Gate Cottages. Please note that whilst every care has been taken to ensure our stabling and fencing is maintained in first class condition we cannot, and will not, accept any legal or financial responsibility for the safety of your horse while it is stabled in the Forest Gate stables. Accommodation for horses is provided strictly at the horse owners own risk.
